Nemyo Privacy Policy

Nemyo is designed as a calm, privacy first safety layer. This page explains what data is collected, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Who operates Nemyo

Nemyo is operated by PlastyPesa S.R.L., a company registered in Romania. References to "we", "us" or "our" in this policy mean PlastyPesa S.R.L.

Nemyo includes a web app, browser extension and related services that work together to keep screens calmer for children while keeping parents clearly informed.

2. What Nemyo does and does not do

  • Nemyo focuses on patterns such as routes, search terms and visits to specific platforms.
  • Nemyo does not record message content, email content or the full history of every page that is opened.
  • Nemyo does not use keylogging, does not capture keyboard input, and does not take screenshots of the screen.
  • Nemyo is built to redirect or pause intense content and to surface calm, high level insight for parents.

3. Data that is collected

Data is collected so that Nemyo can link a parent account to devices and apply Nemyo protection. The categories below describe what is stored.

Account data

  • Parent account details such as name, email address and authentication identifier.
  • Subscription status and billing identifiers from the payment provider, but not full payment card numbers.

Device and profile data

  • Device identifiers that connect a browser profile or device to a parent account.
  • Basic device information such as browser type, operating system family and extension version.

Safety events and patterns

  • Information about when a TikTok, YouTube, Roblox or web session was paused or redirected.
  • Search terms that triggered Nemyo protection, stored in a simplified, categorised form.
  • Severity labels and calm streak counters used to show progress in the parent dashboard.

4. Threat reports

When you report a link as harmful, Nemyo stores:

  • The reported URL, platform, title and reason provided.
  • The parent account identifier that sent the report.
  • Whether the report is pending or has been reviewed.

Threat reports are used to improve the threat feed and to protect other families from similar content.

5. How data is used

  • To run Nemyo protection and decide when to pause, redirect or allow content.
  • To show calm, aggregated insight in the parent dashboard, such as calm streaks and recent activity.
  • To detect abuse or misuse of the service and keep the platform secure.
  • To comply with legal obligations and to respond to valid law enforcement requests.

6. Legal basis and rights under data protection law

For families in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, Nemyo generally relies on:

  • Performance of a contract, to provide the Nemyo service that you sign up for.
  • Legitimate interests, for safety, abuse prevention and service improvement, balanced against privacy.
  • Compliance with legal obligations, where applicable.

Depending on your location, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability and objection. You can exercise these rights by contacting support using the details at the end of this page.

7. Data retention

Nemyo keeps data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above.

  • Account data is kept while your subscription or trial is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for billing and audit reasons.
  • Safety events may be kept for a rolling window so that trends, calm streaks and threat feeds remain accurate.
  • Threat reports are kept while they remain relevant to protection of families that use Nemyo.

8. Sharing with third parties

Nemyo does not sell personal data.

Data may be shared with:

  • Cloud hosting and storage providers that help run the service.
  • Payment processors that handle subscription billing.
  • Analytics and error monitoring tools that help keep the service stable.
  • Authorities, where this is required by law or necessary to protect safety.

9. International transfers

Nemyo may store and process data on servers located in the European Union and other countries. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses are applied where required by law.

10. Security

Nemyo uses technical and organisational measures to protect data, including encryption in transit, restricted access controls and regular security reviews.

No online service can guarantee perfect security, but the goal is always to minimise risk and respond quickly to any issue.
